Implementation of ISO 50001 for the town of ROŽNOV POD RADHOŠTĚM

Enerfis won a tender to develop a policy for implementation of ISO 50001 standard, posted by ROŽNOV POD RADHOŠTĚM. The town is in the process of step by step implementation of ČSN EN ISO 50001 – a system of energy management.  
 
The project was aimed to fulfill legal obligations for energy management and effective measures to lower energy consumption, as well as to create a policy for energy efficiency.  
 
For Rožnov we have drafted an analysis of pros and cons of ISO 50001 and created a plan of certification with all associated costs. We started with an evaluation of  present  energy management measures, and outlined what norms had to be fulfilled for successful certification. 
 
Enerfis and  Rožnov pod Radhoštěm  continued cooperation by setting up energy monitoring software Enectiva, which will be used as a dedicated software for energy management.
